Job Description:
Support a global client across multiple time zones
Shift work environment.
Day to day Operational support of Microsoft related platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues at an infrastructure level.
Strong client focus and ensuring the delivery of client SLA’s.
Process driven environment - regularly updates to ticket workflow system to give transparency to customers and management.
Education / Technology expertise:
MCP or MCSE 2003
Skills and Competencies:
A minimum of three year’s IT experience.
Strong Windows 2003 and Active Directory Administration skills.
DNS, DHCP, Sites, Virtual Servers etc.
Good knowledge of different hardware platforms and server technologies like RAID and iLO etc.
Any Citrix, SharePoint, Office Communicator or Exchange experience an advantage but not essential.
Exposure to 24/7/365 or “99.999%” uptime environments an advantage.
Strong communication skills essential.
Systematic technical problem solving skills, attention to detail with the ability to work as part of a team.
