Job responsibilities:

Designing, developing and delivering software for a GPS augmentation services
product, to the offshore oil and gas industry. All of the aforementioned including
but not limited to the following:


 *   Designing and implementing Windows forms and web-based systems in the .Net
environment for the GPS augmentation services product  based on defined
requirements;
 *   Documenting all software developments and code;
 *   Factory acceptance testing and production of test reports for software products
prior to release;
 *   Specification and acceptance testing of software from third party software
developers;
 *   Support office and field-testing of software with respect to upgrades and new
developments;
 *   Support and maintain the full range of software products;
 *   Project management of software development;
 *   Assisting all groups, as required, in the production of supporting technical
information such as presentations, comparison reports, information bulletins;
 *   Fulfilling any other reasonable activity as requested by the Software
Development Manager.

Skills

Possess strong programming skills with experience of C++ , .NET, Java or PHP;
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills;
Possess excellent analytical skills and be able to produce high-quality technical
reports, procedures and other similar documentation;
Preferably have a knowledge of Satellite Navigation (GPS, GLONASS).

Qualifications and Education

Educated to Degree level or above, preferably in Physics, Engineering, Computing
Science or other cognate subject or alternatively a related vocational field.

Experience
Have extensive experience in developing real-time software applications.
